Change of trustee for registered accounts, effective January 1, 2018

As part of our commitment to provide you with the best customer experience, we’re continually looking for ways to optimize our operations. With that in mind we’re making a change effective January 1, 2018: CIBC Trust Corporation will be replacing Computershare Trust Company of Canada as the trustee for registered accounts including RRSP, RESP, TFSA, and RIF. There’s no impact to your registered accounts with this change, but if you need more information we can help you. You’ll be receiving new Declarations of Trust and, for locked-in registered plans, new Addenda forms in January 2018.

Holiday closures for Canadian and U.S. markets

The holiday season means several Canadian and U.S. market closures:

  • December 25: Canadian and U.S. markets are closed
  • December 26: Canadian markets are closed (U.S. markets are open). However, since the U.S. markets are open, our client services team will be available by phone, email, and chat from 7:30 am to 8 pm to help you
  • January 1: Canadian and U.S. markets are closed

You can now view your account statement for the month of October. To see your monthly statement, log in to Questrade. From the ACCOUNTS area, hover over Reports and click or tap Statements.

Make automatic contributions with pre-authorized deposits

You can make regular or one-time contributions (Canadian and U.S. funds only) to your Questrade accounts with pre-authorized deposits. To set this up, log in to Questrade. From the ACCOUNTS area, hover over or tap FUNDING and click or tap Pre-authorized deposit.
